The form of this stair is derived from a raindrop-like curve repeated and rotated from a curve embracing the air. This action creates a floral form which reflects the idea of lightness and freedom. The idea behind the stair was inspired from the shells that we saw and used in our Waiheke trip. The amount of shells which brush the sand of the beach created character for the beach. Thus, a sense of regionalism is introduced to the hotel which adapt its region's beauty and origin.
