Dystopian stairs

Since our first stairs had a symmetrical shape with flowing fluid curves, for our dystopian stairs we wanted it to be as contrasting from the utopian stairs as possible. With these stairs the shape is spontaneous as well as the movement of the climber. It would take a lot of effort and determination to climb these stairs as they would produce an arduous task. You would find yourself jumping, clambering and using both your hands and feet to complete the task. You would be less engrossed in your surroundings but rather interact more with the stairs and the physical experience of climbing them.

Since on its own the stairs didn't look as dystopian, a mesh wall was added on the side for both structural reasons and aesthetic ones. It gives a more foreboding and gloomy feel to the stairs, reflecting the experience.
